Welcome to Curriculog, Cal Poly Pomona’s online curriculum management system.
Curriculog automates the process of curriculum development, revision, and approval, helping the University to provide transparency throughout the approval process, improve communication across campus about the development of curriculum, and serve as a single location of records relating to decisions made for each request.
Users enter curricular proposal information on electronic forms that are launched into the approval process (the workflow). The Curriculog System will guide the proposal through the department, college, Senate, and university approval as well as through campus consultation. There is a custom route feature to include the Graduate Council in the workflow for post-baccalaureate proposals and changes.
Since Cal Poly Pomona also uses Acalog, the electronic catalog system, appropriate fields in the curriculum change proposals may be populated from Acalog. When proposals receive final approval, curriculum changes will populate back into Acalog. Attention: Curriculog is now importing from the 2015-16 Catalog.
Curriculog should be used for proposals pertaining to:
- New programs, certificate, options, and minors, and courses
- Changes to programs, certificate, options, and minors, and courses
- Discontinuance of programs, certificate, options, and minors, and deletion of courses
- Movement of programs from state support to self-support or vice versa
- Miscellaneous curricular changes
Please DO NOT use Curriculog for editorial changes to the catalog.
Accessing the System
Only users with appropriate access to the system can view and/or submit proposals. If you are a faculty member or other member of the process, please click the ‘login’ button at the upper-right side of your screen and enter your BroncoName and password. If you are unable to login with your BroncoName, please complete the user access form for Curriculog located on the CPP Curriculum Development website.
When you have logged in, a dashboard with tabs at the top will appear on the left. The contents of the first tab, “My Tasks” will appear on the left side of the screen. If you have submitted proposals in the system previously, you will see them listed on the “My Proposals” tab.
If you encounter problems as you use the site or if you notice changes that need to be made to the system, please contact Richard Leonard, email@example.com.
Instructional materials are available to assist you in completing proposal forms, and can be found http://www.cpp.edu/~academic-programs/scheduling/curriculog.shtml.
